If it's anything like the 2005 model, you should have two long "keys" which slot in the sides of the stereo and push the clips, so the device can slide out.
If you don't have these, you can buy them (although they do vary slightly between manufacturers, most are very similar) or you can try to use a couple of teaspoons.

I did this not long ago in my ranger. There are four hole in the front of the radio, you must remove the trim around it to see them. They are on the four corners. They make a tool that fits in the holes and pushes the clips in and the radio pulss free. I used four drill bits that just fit in the holes. luck.

remove the buttplate screws, and the buttplate. In the large round hole in the stock is the stock bolt. That is unscrewed to remove the stock from the rifle.

. to remove the bolt on this model you must lower the tube assembly,there is a screw under the stock, remove stock first.

remove the exterior trim peace that surrounds the outer edges of the radio. Then there should be either two 10mm bolts or four phillip head screws holding the radio in place remove them and gently remove the radio from it slot and then unplug the wire harnesses and antenna in the back of the radio. repeat in reverse to reinstall.
