Very easy. You will find 1 phillips screw on each side of the bumper cover. Remove those. There are 4 bolts size 10mm to remove. You will then have to remove plastic clips holding the bumper in place. 5 on the top and some more on the bottom. Yo also have to remove the grill. This video will walk you through the process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNBrRvy_-os
Unplug the electircal connectors and remove the halogen bulb - Remove the front bumper - Remove the headlight housing mounting bolts and nuts and remove the housing from the body - Installation is the reverse - after you're done adjust the headlight after it is replaced.
No, you do not need to remove the bumper. here is a video on how to change your headlight really easy. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ieXVCTWQHSY I did it just to see how easy it was and it was pretty easy.

Its harder to replace the side and indicator bulbs on a crv 01 plate remove grill then remove bumper then remove light cluster then replace bulbs. A lot of work for little bulb you would think it would be easy but it aint............
standing in front of the truck the numbering goes on the left from closest to the front bumper 2,4,6 and on the right 3,1,5
(1) unplug all electrical connectors and carefully remove the halogen bulb. (2) remove the front bumper which will expose the lens mounting bolts/nuts (3) remove the headlight housing mounting bolts/nuts and remove the housing. (4) installation is the reverse of removal.
to remove a 6.8 v10 from a f350 2003 do you have to remove front end

I rear-ended a Porsche 996 Turbo in my CR-V. Replacing the front bumper cover takes about ten minutes and involves unscrewing the visible fasteners and basically yanking the thing off. If you hit something, be sure to verify that other parts are not broken (grill, plastic fasteners, front bumper beam, AC condensor, horn, etc) to minimize trips to the dealer.
The fog lights on MkI and MkII Honda CRV models are mounted into the front bumper and to gain access you have to remove the bumper. If only replacing one side you can leave the fittings on the other side intact and just slide the bumper out enough to gain access to the rear. The fog light is a robust aluminium unit that is totally waterproof. You will have to remove just 4 self tapping screws and disconnect the wiring and the unit will come out from the back of the bumper. Then there is one screw next to the beam adjustment screw that you remove. The adjustment plate will then pivot and come away leaving you access to the 5 screws that hold the rear plate on the unit. Remove these and the plate and you will reveal the bulb held in by the standard spring wire clip. As usual re-assembly is the reverse. Just did mine to replace the bulb. Andy..
