Most electric Ariel's work the same. 1 Unscrew the top of the base (where the mast comes out from)
2 Turn on the radio to make the Ariel come up, it'll unwind the whole thing.
3 Get your new mast and feed it into the hole until it stops,
4 Turn off the radio and it'll wind the whole new one in,
5 Screw the
top of the base back on.

Remove the wiring harness from the bottom of your 1987 Chevy Corvette power antenna. Remove the power antenna retaining nuts. Reverse the process to install your new power antenna.

I have a 98 4runner limited and It has a power antenna, I recently replaced the mast for it and it's pretty easy to replace the antenna it self. not sure about the euro ,but I know that it's pretty easy to take off the motor (if you can get under the panel) and just replace it with a normal antenna
Remove the wiring harness from the bottom of your 1987 Buick Regal power antenna. Remove the power antenna retaining nuts. The power antenna will come off. Reverse the process to install the new power antenna.
You would need to get a tool to remove the notched chrome piece that holds the antenna mast, or carefully use pliers to unscrew it out. After you remove that, the antenna itself is held by a 10mm bolt. to get to it you'll need to open up the trunk lining near the antenna location and remove that bolt. Then, pull the antenna far enough to disconnect the antenna wire and power. Assuming the antenna motor is still functional, you can then replace the antenna mast with a new one. Or, you can install an aftermarket rubber antenna.
*For easy access remove the right front tire. Remove the fender well (phillips screws) to gain access to the power antenna. Disconnect the antenna and the plug. *If the gears are stripped you can purchase a replacement antenna and nylon gear strip cheaply on eBay
