Easy, step one: loosen the idler wheel tensioners. #2 remove the bolts that hold the skid to the tunnel and remove skid #3 remove chaincase cover and driveshaft bearing #4 remove speedometer cable from clutch side driveshaft bearing cover and driveshaft bearing #5 slide driveshaft towards chaincase enough to slide the track out.

Disconnect battery negative terminal, drain primary chaincase, remove outer chaincase cover, remove jackshaft end screw, disconnect positive terminal & solenoid terminal from starter, remove two allenhead starter mounting bolts, lift out starter. To reinstall starter reverse procedure.

remove clutch cover. remove old belt. install new belt.
Disconnect negative battery cable, drain chaincase, remove outer chaincase cover, bend jackshaft lock tab away from bolt head, hold pinion gear in place and remove jackshaft bolt (righthand threads). The jackshaft assembly will then slide out. Reverse procedure to install new jackshaft.
Yes. It's located inside the primary chaincase on the left side of the motor. It can be replaced without removing the inner chaincase cover.
Just under the recoil cover. You will see a small box with 2 screws to the left of the flywheel once you remove the cover.
Remove all the srews holding the recoil cover in place . You might have to remove the spring for the foot brake because the screw that is behind it is long and you can bring it out through the hole . If the seal is tight on the cover you might have to take a rubber mallot and hit the cover to break the seal .
