you need a 15/16" box wrench or socket, turncounter clock wise, have a pan to catch the oil, it is a messy operation, the filter is inside the cover. to get filter out use a pliers to lossen filter with a wiggle back and forth, there is more oil when the filter comes out, this was not the best enginearing job by GM have plenty of rags handy good luck!
Behind the glove compartment door. Open and empty the glove compartment door then remove the two door stop/bumpers to allow the door to drop down. This will expose the cabin filter access door. Remove the cabin filter access door and the cabin filter will slide out easily.

The 1990 Chevrolet Suburban door panel is held in place with 14 retaining clips and two screws. Remove the screws, that can be found near the door handle. Pry outward on the retaining clips to remove the door panel.

Remove the glove-box and door so that you can see it better and it will be easier to remove the tabs............ Once the glove-box and door have been removed the cabin air filter is located between the evaporator and the main control box. Remove the tabs, the cover and then remove the cabin air filter..............
The cabin filter is behind the lower passenger side of the dash. It can be reached from underneath the dash on the passenger side. A 5.5mm screw holds the cabin filter access door in place. Remove the 5.5mm screw, remove the access door, remove the two piece cabin filter.
On the 1994 the fuel filter is on the inside of the frame below the rear door on the passenger side. There are 2 hose clamps on the hoses and a large hose clamp or other type of clamp holding the filter on. Use screwdriver or pliers.
Open the locked door on tank, remove the plastic tray, remove the wing nut, slide the filter cover to the right, and tilt upwards , there is the filter.

There's a fuse for that. I think it says "unlck" on it. Just remove it and it will disable the auto-lock.
Very Simple, there are usually located behind the glove box door. Most of the time the door will fall back that you can get at the filter. Most of them that I have done, you push on the sides of the door and then it will fall back revealing the filter. Theres a plastic cover or filter holder that you remove where the filter is located.
