After you've loosened up all the 4x nuts/bolts from the straps, and disconnected the sending unit wires, and the fuel line (with an empty tank), then put a rag in the filler neck. Back the vehicle from the garage and raise it on jack stands so you can easily get under the rear of the vehicle.
