How do you remove gas tank from 1967 corvette you loosened up everything but the frame rails seem to be in the way to drop the tank?

After you've loosened up all the 4x nuts/bolts from the straps, and disconnected the sending unit wires, and the fuel line (with an empty tank), then put a rag in the filler neck. Back the vehicle from the garage and raise it on jack stands so you can easily get under the rear of the vehicle.
