remove cover from centre of steering wheel and you will see a nut undo it while holding onto the steering wheel with one hand and undo then pull the wheel towards you giving it a bit of a wiggle.
ok you have to check on your steering wheel in back of you steering wheel there will be a 2 or 4 bolts you gonna have to remove ,as soon your remove you steering wheel airbag you should see 2 wires one goes to airbag on other will be connected to you steering wheel switches ,,you should remove that and after that you gonna see one bolt you should remove it and you can after that you should be able to pull you steering wheel
The Haynes repair manual #38025 (1420) has instructions on how to remove the steering wheel. It's for Skylarks from 1986-1995 but I think the 1996 wheel is the same. Plenty of manuals on eBay or Amazon, and dirt cheap too.
To replace the wiper control switch in the 1996 Honda Civic, you must remove the steering wheel. With the wheel out of the way , remove the column covers and disconnect the electrical harness from the wiper switch. Remove respective screws and slide replacement switch into place. Replace respective screws, column cover and steering wheel.

The steering wheel in your 1996 may be hard to turn because you are low on power steering fluid. You can add some on your own and your steering wheel will not be hard to turn.
Its a tough job that requires special tools. Remove the air bag. Remove the steering with a steering wheel puller. Remove the air bag position sensor. The steering wheel lock plate needs to be removed with a steering wheel lock plate puller. Then the turn signal switch can be removed by snaking the wire harness through the steering column. Not as easy as it sounds.
If you haven't been trained on air bags, don't try it.
You can't, you have to replace the ignition switch
Remove the tire and wheel from your 1996 Toyota Tercel. Remove the end of the axle. Remove the wheel bearing seal. Remove the wheel bearing nut. Remove the wheel bearing. Reverse the process to install your new wheel bearings.
Disconnect the air bag fuse. Remove the screws on either side of the back of the steering wheel (8mm). Remove the air bag ...disconnect wire conector first. Remove the strg wheel nut (13/16) Disconnect the cruise switch(if equipped) Unplug horn connector. Install puller and pull strg whell off. Sometimes if you have no puller you can pull/wiggle the wheel off
In order to remove the turn signal lever from a 66 Suburban you have to remove the steering wheel then there is a single Phillips head screw that holds the arm to the switch.
To remove the cluster to get to the bulb, lower your steering wheel and remove the trim piece. Take out two screws and pull out the instrument cluster.
