One should use an impact gun to remove those nuts. That or a breaker bar.
The best way I have found is with a 1/2 or 3/4" breaker bar. With the wheels on the ground have someone step on the brake while you "stand" on the bar to break the nut free. A good impact wrench might to it, but you need a real good one. Make sure you torque and stake (re-punch) the wheel nuts or they will vibrate loose. Not a good thing.
