How do you replace tailgate window motor on 1995 Ford Bronco?

this is the biggest pain i ever had to do when i had my bronco... but its simple, just take the plate off of the inside of the tailgate (tailgate could be up or down, down is easier), find the motor, unplug it and remove the couple bolts that are holding it in. careful not to cut yourself there isn't much room to work. the hardest part is getting it back in. good luck!

How do you replace rear window motor 93 bronco?

If it is the same as my 83, which it probably is, or at least very similar, remove the inside panel and right near the center towards the top end of the tailgate (top being where window comes out) should be the motor. Mine was only connected with 3 5/16" bolts. Take those off, then use a little muscle to wrestle the motor loose.

Rear window on 1996 bronco doesn't go up how do you access the arm that controls the window or rise the window?

There is a control arm that attaches to you tailgate release, chance are this or another one of these arms has come out of it's retaining clip. Remove the inside panel on the tailgate, about 6 to 8 screws. This will allow you access, though tight, into the area of the motor, gears and control arms. If you have tint on your window slide a piece of cardboard in to protect from being scratched while your working in there.

How do you lower tailgate window when motor fails on a 1987 ford bronco?

As far as I know there is no way to get the window down other than removing the motor itself. The motor is what holds the window up when closed. Make sure its the motor that has failed. There is also a switch located on the drivers side latch inside the gate that is designed to not allow the window to open when the gate is down. If that switch fails it the window motor will not function at all. I used a wire jumper to bypass the switch and solved my problem.

How to remove a Ford bronco rear window motor?

I'm not sure what year you have but for my 94 xlt it was as simple as: -lower the window so you can open the tail gate. -remove the access panel -now open the window half way -there are 4 bolts, 2 on each side that connect the window to the mechinism that raises and lowers it. remove those 4 bolts. -open the window fully once disconnected from the mechinism *MAKE SURE TO SUPORT THE WINDOW WITH BOX'S OR SOMETHING* -diconnect the wiring harnes to the motor -remove the 3 bolts that hold the motor in place. -and slide it out
