How do you use a mobile CB antenna for base station antenna?
Unscrew the antenna from the base Remove plastic bezel by gently prying off Remove 3 Philip head screws Base unplugs from cable right at the fender. As long as you don't let the cable fall into the fender, removal is not necessary.
You will need to remove the overhead lights inside the car to do it. Pop out the lights with a flat head screw driver and disconnect the chords. Then look up and you will see a screw holding the base of the antenna to the hood. (Make sure you've unscrewed the antenna from the base though). Unscrew that and it should pop right off.
