- follow steps 1-4 - once you get the black trim plate off, the stock radio is held in place by 4 nut/screws. - remove the nut/screws - pull the stock radio out - disconnect the harness - disconnect the antenna - disconnect any auxiliary input devices (i.e. CD changer) if you have them
- when you go to put your new deck in, just follow these steps in reverse
- I'd never done this before (to any of my cars) and it only took about 10 mins- the toughest part for me was removing the climate control plate. I was scared to break something, and it 'snagged' on the left side. wiggle and work CAREFULLY and it'll eventuall pop out/off.
