I've linked you the directions to disassemble and reassemble the dash in your 2004 Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The 2003 Suzuki Vitara OBD 2 port is on bottom of dash, above accelerator pedal
Under the dash on the driver side
The 2002 Suzuki Vitara OBD 2 port is on lower edge of dash, right of steering column; near center console
under the dash to the left of the clutch and brake petal
Underneath drivers dash, black box right above dead pedal foot rest
The 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara OBD 2 port is on lower edge dash, right of steering column; near center console
The fuse box for 2004 Suzuki Vitara is located on drivers side just above and to the left of the brake peddle. You have to get on your back on the floor to see it. It houses the fuses for cigarette lighter, radio, tail lights and dash lights as well as others. They are labeled. Second fuse box is in engine compartment on passenger side...no idea what they control.
remove the top dash panel closest to the windshield, then remove mounting screws for dash module.
there is one next to the battery on our 99 not sure if there is also one in the dash..
It is located under the dash, just left of steering column. It is a black box about 3"X 4"X 1" thick, tied against the backside of the dash with wire ties. Plainly marked "SUZUKI keyless entry system"
on our 2001 there is a cruise control button on dash push it then use controls rite side of steering wheel.

Suzuki Vitara1. Unplug the DRL module located under the dash to the right of the steeering column.It's a small silver box with a multi pin plug in its side, pretty obvious.2. Lift the circular light sensor on the right side of the dash. Unplug it. Don't drop theplug into the dash. Retain it and be sure to secure it with a string attached to the sensorhousing so it can be recovered if need be, and does not rattleEasy as that!

Underneath drivers dash = black box right above dead pedal/rest. Horrible spot. how do i get to the tail light fuse in order to change it?
Disconnect the negative battery cable and let the vehicle sit for 30 minutes so that the airbag module will power down. Remove the glove-box so that you can see the blower and housing better. Remove the (ECM) and bracket from the blower motor housing. Disconnect the wire harness clamps from the dash. Remove the three nuts that are holding the blower motor in place..............

The instrument bezel cover on the dash is removed by gently coaxing it out of the space. On the 2006 Suzuki Forenza, this part is not glued, screwed, or clipped in. Use a flat screwdriver around the edges to remove it.
Open the driver's side door and remove the panel on the side of the dash. If not there, then the passangerside of the dash.

you have to remove the clips on the dash and take out the lock ring around the lighterr
Remove the dash. It bolted to the firewall directly behind/above the glove box.
Manually turn front free wheeling hubs to lock (front wheels) Place $wd gear stick to 4H or 4L - $wd light will come on on dash
