I had a 1989 Volvo 240 wagon that had a hard time not bottoming out on my driveway every day, so eventually the rear bumper actually FELL OFF all by itself! It's not unusual for the posts that hold it to the car to rust through. That said, if you don't get a good answer here (and you haven't tried this already) go to www.brickboard.com. ∙ 14y agoRemove the blank next to the radio and you will find two screws holding the cover.
There also are some hidden screws that can be located after you remove the glove box liner. Do I need to remind you to disconnect the battery first? And does anyone store their gloves in that box anymore.
