How do you remove the door panels and replace the window regulators on an Intrigue?

The door panel is connected to the door with screws around the arm rest area and then with white plastic fasteners that push into holes in the door. I started by taking out the screws that hold the armrest. The window switches and holder can be lifted by prying gently from the rear of the switch panel. The front has a plastic hook that fits into the arm rest so don't pry on the front or it will break. Only pry on the rear portion of the panel. You can use a butter knife to take the switch out of the switch panel That makes it easier to pull the door panel off. Once the screws were out, I used an old fork to pry the panel away from the door at each point the plastic fasteners insert into the metal. Just work at it and the whole panel will come off. These fasteners are around the outside edge of the panel. Once off you will see a plastic sheeting stuck to the door with a black tar type paste. Just peal it away from the door and you will be able to see the mechanism. You can undo the bolts that hold it to the door and also undo the window bolts that hold the window to the regulator. The whole regulator and motor assembly will come out as a unit and you can work on it from there. The reverse is used to replace it again. I have found that sometimes the small white fasteners get messed up. If they do you can by new at most automotive places. Hope that helps, I have had to replace all four regulators now on my 99 olds.
