remove the door and window crank handles, tehn all of the screws you can find. Then the retainers around the sides and bottom of the panel and raise up on the panel to remove it. You may need special tools to remove the handles and retainers. They can be gotten at tne parts store pretty cheaply.

Look in the trunk behind the side panel on the driver's side. If not there, then the passenger side kick panel.

There should be a sticker with the code on the driver side trunk hinge and possibly another in the glove compartment. The code should also be printed on the door lock module which is inside the driver's door (you have to remove the door panel).
Unless there is an access panel in the trunk, which is doubtful, you will have to remove the fuel tank from the vehicle to access the pump.

To change the check engine light bulb on a 1996 Crown Victoria you need to remove the molding from around the instrument panel. Next, remove the headlight knob and shafts. Locate the light bulb and turn counterclockwise to remove. Reverse directions to replace with a new bulb.
Using a screw driver, remove the screws and the clips in the panel of the door and remove the panel gently. Remove any wiring connectors between the panel and the door, then remove the panel the rest of the way.
