How do you remove the entire headlight assembly from a 90 Dodge Shadow when the aligning cable goes through the radiator support?

Go to the junk yard. Find a shadow and find out the way to remove the head light. Do the same thing on your own car.

Open the hood, stand in front of headlight assembly, notice two black tabs sticking up behind assembly in back of the radiator support. Wiggle the tabs up and off, these tabs lock the headlight assembly into the radiator support. Once the tabs are removed you can wiggle the assembly out the front and gain access to the bulbs. Install in reverse.

Figured it out... Remove plastic trim from on top of radiator support. Remove grill. Remove battery & light sockets. remove 4 bolts... remove headlight assembly. Cheers

This will unlock the headlight assembly. Now you can wiggle the assembly out the front and gain access to the bulb. Reverse for assembly.

Each of the headlight assemblies are braced through the radiator support with a pair of retainers. The retainers for the right headlight assembly are in front of the battery. The retainers for the left assembly are in front of the washer fluid reservoir. Remove the retainers by pulling up on the retainer. With the retainers removed, the headlamp assembly falls forward. Reinstall the retainers to the square tabs on the headlamp assembly and the rivet on the radiator support

there are 2 torx screws where the headlight housing is mounted to the radiator support. Remove these first. They are 4 to 5 inches long so they have to be pulled after unscrewing them. Remove the housing assembly. Then unplug the wiring, turn the light and remove it from the housing. Install in reverse order. Make sure the aligning stud is inserted into the fender.

Remove the headlight assembly above the faulty signal bulb. This will give you access to the signal bulb socket. on top of the radiator support above the headlight assembly, there are 2 holes that lead to the adjustment screws. Use either a torx bit driver in the center of the adjusting bolt or the proper size socket to engage the hex bolt.

In order to remove the whole assembly, you have to remove the front bumper cover which will expose a bolt on the bottom of the assembly which has to be removed...along with the bolt on top of the radiator support beam on each headlight!

First, you'll need to remove the front bumper. To do this, take off the bolts underneath the front part of the bumper.
