The first Honda Goldwing with fuel injection was the 1985 LTD model produced until 1987. When the Goldwing engine was enlarged to 1800cc in 2001 then that model and all susequent models had fuel injection.
No
regular fuel will do. 89 octane
fuel pump is in the fuel tank it is remove trough filler neck not that bad of a job
Should be 22 liters
First, the 1200 last year was 1987, after that it's the 1500. Just follow the fuel line if it's a 1200.
Fuse box on 1979 Goldwing is in small black box forward of the fuel tank filler cap.
Big job. The tank has to come off from behind. Have to remove the bags and rear wheel.---Remove the seat, and top compartment, remove rear fender, shocks, and rear wheel. Disconnect all fuel lines, remove the cross plate from the frame. Disconnect sensors, and fuel gauge, battery and holder.Remove rear brake fluid reservoir from the frame,Remove the fuel filter bracket, turn valve off, remove fuel tank mount bolt. Move the tank to the rear and out. Good luck.
The fuel pump should b on the fuel lines or it will sit on top of the fuel tank if so you will have to remove the fuel tank...
If you really mean the fuel tank, and not the casing that looks like the gas tank, then the fuel tank has to come out from the back of the bike. Means side bags and wheel removal. Plus a few other parts.
23.00 litres or 6.08 gallons.
The fuel pump is in the fuel tank on a 1985 Buick Electra. Disconnect the battery. Unhook the filler neck. While holding the tank up with a jack, remove the tank straps. Lower the tank enough to disconnect the fuel lines and wiring. Take the tank out and remove the top plate to replace the pump. Install everything that was removed.
