You can remove the front brake drum, on your Kawasaki Mule 2500, by removing the wheel and axle. The brake drum will slide off.

A Kawasaki brake drum diagram can be obtained from most Kawasaki ATV dealerships. The brake drum diagram can also be found at most ATV parts stores.
The rear brake shoes, on a Kawasaki 3010 Mule, will come off. When the brake springs are removed. Reverse the process to install new brake shoes.
Place a block or jack stand under engine frame. Remove 2 swing arm bolts. 1 on each side. Remove upper shock bolts on each rear shock. De-tatch rear brake cable. Remove the hose clamp on the drive shaft rubber boot cover closest to the engine. Slide rear end out from under 4 wheeler. You can now pull drive shaft from rear housing.
How to remove. 1988-1995 Kawasaki Klf Bayou 220 rear brake drum. 1. Remove the rear wheel 2. Pull the cover off the grove in the end of the brake drum. 3. Remove and discard the axle nut cotter pin. 4. Loosen and remove the axle nut and washer. 5. Slide the brake drum off the rear axle and remove it. Note: The brake drum should slide off the rear axle with little or no effort. If the brake drum is tight, Loose the brake adjuster. I hope this help's.

im changing the fluids in a 2003 kawasaki ninja and NEED A LITTLE HELP. OIL, OIL FILTER, BRAKE FLUID, ETC. ANY INFORMATION WILL BE HELPFUL. THANK YOU
1. Remove the brake hose to caliper bolt from the brake caliper. 2. Remove the brake hose from the brake caliper. 3. Remove and discard the 2 copper brake hose gaskets. These gaskets may be stuck to the brake caliper and/or the brake hose end. 4. Cap or plug the opening in the brake caliper and the brake hose to prevent fluid loss and contamination. 5. Remove the 2 brake caliper pin bolts. Remove the park brake cable from the caliper. 6. Remove the brake caliper from the brake caliper bracket.
Drain the brake fluid from the brake master cylinder reservoir. Remove the wiring harness from the brake cylinder. Remove the brake lines. Remove the brake cylinder retaining nuts. Reverse the process to install the new master brake cylinder.
You remove the wheels to replace brake lines.
