I hope this help's.
you will need to jack it up so the wheels are off the ground and hold it up with either a jack stand or a cinderblock, i did front so i put a cinderblock under where the front A-arms connect. First take off the wheel, it should have 4 nuts, remove all four. then you can see a pin will a ball on the headattached to the front of the axle, you will have to bend it so it is completely straight. tap the pin with a hammar on the bottom (Not the side with the small ball) slowly so you dont bend it but hard enough so it will come out. After getting off the wheels and getting off the pin you will see another nut on the axle. on mine that nut was extremely hard to remove so i PB blasted the crap otta of it and it came off after some serious pulling and pushing. after removing the wheel, the pin on the axle and that nut on the axle you will be able to slide off the drum and see the inside of it and see the pads. sorry for the spelling/hard to follow instructions, Im only 13.

Better hope it is not a drum brake- it was originally equipped with a disc brake caliper.
