This is a massive undertaking as the front axle goes through an engineered hole through the oil pan of the inline six 4.2 ltr engine. I don't think anybody will have the time or energy to write you a book on the full procedure with torque specifications etc. This is a highly specialized operation that requires a professional and a book.
This did not answer the question, simple steps is fine as I am fully qualified to fix it. just want to know if its possible without removing oil pan and passenger side axle. I gather its not, I have the drivers side loose also the differential,, guess from what I see is that the oil pan and passenger axle is next.
Thanks
No
You must remove the transmission, the front differential is built right in.
The Chevrolet Tahoe was produced from the years 1992 to present. The type of fluid that is used for the front differential for a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe is called the SAE 80W-90.
There isn't a drain plug. You will need to remove the diff cover to drain the gear lube.
75W-90 synthetic gear oil
YES, as long as there the same GEAR RATIO.
This question makes absolutely no sense. Do you mean the front-rear end? If its in the front it's not a rear. Is it four-wheel drive? Do you mean the front differential?
The refrigerant capacity for a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer with front and rear air conditioning is 48 ounces. The capacity in front only air conditioning models is 29 ounces.
Check on the internet fat cow
The coolant temperature sensor, on a 2005 Chevrolet trailblazer 4.2 liter engine, is located just above the thermostat housing. The thermostat housing is located in the front of the engine.
75W-90 in the rear differential. 80W-90 in the front differential (4x4 models). This is according to the 2007 Chevrolet Suburban owner's manual.
I believe they are 6 - 1/2" speakers.
