How do you remove the front grille on a 1998 Camaro SS?

there should be 8-10 clips on the back side of the grille. you'll have to pry out the top, then ease the lower ones out gradually. they are very tight, but if you're careful you should be able to muscle them out without scratching your paint.

The radiator is in the front, directly behind the lower front grille. It sits about 5 inches off the ground. To replace or repair the radiator, you must remove the front grille, the fenders, and the front wheels. See a Chilton manual for complete details.

If drainage is plugged under the grille adjacent to windshieldwipers, the water will drain into the floor of the front passenger seating area. Remove the grille and clear the plug. To avoid recurrence of this problem, clear leaves and other materials laying on the grille. Mike

Coupe? There are little screws on the underside that you'll have to reach under and remove with a small, short screwdriver. Sedan? I believe the grille is part of the bumper.
