I"m going to presume you are talking about a 4-wheel drive vehicle. You need to remove the center cap to loosen the hub nut, taking the cotter pin out first. Then you will remove the wheel, brake caliper. Take the rotor off next.The bolt that holds the ABS sensor on is a 5/16 socket.On the back side there are three 13mm bolts that hold the hub to the steering knuckle. You might be able to reach them better if you rotate the steering from one extreme to the other. This is resonably abbreviate and once you get in there it should become easy.
To permanently disable, remove the drive shaft from the transfer case to the front differential.
