an automotive shop should have the tools u need its a little plastic thing that goes over the fuel line and releases the clip inside the filter
You will need a special "tool" that is very cheap, it is also the same thing you use to remove AC lines etc. You can do it with a screwdriver but you may damage things. You may have to be quite forceful and if you are not experienced you can damage the fuel lines. Push in the tool and twist the filter and pull, keep at it. I just have the oil change guys do it, life is too short.

Disconnect fuel lines Remove 2 mounting bolts Slide pump off cam
The fuel filter is located in the framing on the driver side just in front of the gas tank. Kinda hard to get to, lines are also a pain to get loose.
Slide under the center of the truck on the driverside. look on the inside of the frame rail just ahead of the side mount fuel tank. look for a cylinder about 2" in diameter about 4" long. you will need a special tool to remove the lines that you can buy at your local parts place. make sure you release the pressure before you remove the filter
With fuel line quick release tools available from your local auto parts store.
The oil sending unit is on the same side of the engine as the oil filter. It is just behind the filter, and screws in.
you may have too much vaccum in the lines
On inner/upper side of left mid/rear frame. follow your fuel ines to it.
There is no OBDII connector on 1993 F150. Didn't start until 1996 (97 model).
