You would need to take this to the dealer. I had to have mine done. They have to program the new cluster panel for your vehicle.
(they are pro rating the price up to 70,000 miles its a 180$ part about 600$ repair)
220.
The actual dash would have to be cut out, as it is attached. The gauge cluster un bolts from the back.
Remove the instrument cluster cover. Each instrument gauge is secured separately with retaining screws. Remove the retaining screws from each gauge. Remove the wiring harnesses from each gauge.
who should i see about a recall on 2005 chevy trailblazer for faulty fuel gauge and not working speed gauge who can i call about this for a recall was bought used
The gauge cluster is mounted from behind the dash with three bolts. You have to reach in behind there and remove the three nuts with a small wrench. Once you remove the nuts, the gauge cluster itself will push back through the dash. From there, you can remove the speedo itself from the cluster. The speedometer only has 3 small screws keeping it mounted to the gauge cluster.
Buy a new Speedometer cluster. The external Temp gauge is extremely rare
The Miata.net Garage section (http://www.miata.net/garage/) has a wealth of information on all things Miata related. This is for a gauge-face install, which requires you to remove the gauge cluster, and includes complete instructions:http://www.miata.net/garage/gaugefaces.html
220 is not excessive
