Take a small screwdriver and remove the cap with the shift pattern on it. Once this is off take a 15mm socket and remove the nut from the middle of the knob. Once the nut is out unscrew the knob.

you have to take the plastic cover off. more then likely you'll have to cut it off (thats what i did), then underneath that there's a bolt you'll remove and the shift knob will come off.
