Remove horn ring, remove steering wheel, get steering wheel puller from Auto Zone rental program, remove big nut using wrench, then pull off piece behind steering wheel with wheel puller. Remove turn signal switch, then it's a little fuzzy from there (I'm working on the same thing now with a '73 Challenger.) Eric
Trying going to a Chevy dealer with the VIN #. They may be able to have a key made with this #.
Wiring on early Bronco switches, (1966-77) at least are removable. There is a plug with a nut on the back of the switch. remove the nut, then pull the single wire off of the threaded stud. The rest of the wires are in a plug which will just pull of now that the nut is removed. Hope this helps.
My '77 F250 also has two solenoids for the starter, one on the fender and the other on the starter. The one on the starter is the one you'd expect and has a mechanical function, it moves the starter gear to mesh with the ring gear on the flywheel to turn the engine over. The solendoid on the fender has an electrical function as a relay. A relay is basically a switch operated by another switch. In this case, the controlling switch is the ignition switch and the switch it operates is the solenoid. The current needed to operate the starter is so great that it would wear out your ignition switch plus require huge wires running from the battery to the dash so instead of switching this huge current, the ignition switch switches only the smaller current needed to operate the solenoid and the solenoid switches the huge current. When you turn the ignition switch on, it energizes the solenoid which closes the circuit that supplies current to the starter.

this very easy ,i worked with 77 Chevy and 89 Chevy caprice ,,the starter is located by right side ,near the exhaust ,there is only 2 bolts ,one is long other is short, before you do that you will need to remove the plastic hub between engine and tranny, first remove this then you will need to remove right exhaust ,or not just on upper stater there will be big wire is a "+ " other isd a small is gonna be ignition switch,so remove this things and after that remove 2 bolts under the starter ad a whole thing should come of easy
Should be around 45-55 psi
The simplest way would be to call Summit Racing and order a one wire HEI distributor and new plug wires. this Dist will require a simple one wire hook up from the ignition switch. order it for a AMC V8.
If it's like my 77 on the front side you will see a nut with two slits cut in it, take a pair of snap-ring pliers to loosen. On the back side of the switch box you will feel a spring loaded button press that in and pull on the light knob. Hope that helped

Not unless someone put a breaker point's distributor in it. It had an HEI / HIGH ENERGY IGNITION distributor in it from the factory.
