there's a retention pin between the lever itself and the plastic washer. A removal tool should be at most auto parts stores, but you don't really need one. Bend a paperclip into a "J" shape and pull the sucker out. A small mirror and a screwdriver will help you find it.
Remove the inside door panel of your 1997 Chevy Lumina. Remove the linkage to the window crank. Remove the window crank retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new window crank.
To remove the window knob,you need to purchase a tool at any auto parts store, you would then slide the tool behind the window crank and simply push out the clip that holds the window lever in place.
You have to remove the inside panel, where the window crank is, or would be.
Remove inside door handle and window crank handle, remove inside door panel, remove vent window and channel assembly, remove window.
Their is a special tool to remove manual crank window cranks and it will work for almost any car. You can pick one up at auto zone
General Chevy info, remove door hande bezel, remove armrest, remove window crank if it has manual windows.(there is a clip on the crank) Start at the bottom and gently pry panel up pulling plasic clips out of holes in door. When panel is loose it will lift off of window ledge. If you have power windows or locks you will have to unplug the switches carefully
should be an Allen head or torx screw in the center of the crank.
There is a c-clipthat holds the crank in place,you just need to push it off and the crank comes off.
Your local auto parts store will sell you an inexpensive tool to do that job. There is a spring clip that has to be removed from behind the handle.

You will need to remove the inside door panel of your 1977 Chevrolet blazer. Remove the window crank linkage. Remove the window crank retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new window crank.
Most chevys have a horseshoe shaped clip on the window crank. There is a special tool to remove it , but I just push them off with a small screw driver, or hook the back with a dental tool
