I'm trying to repair my rear view mirror on my 1998 Buick Regal but need information on how to remove the button on the mirror attachment.
Super glue remover officially; however, super glue is quite brittle, and a well-placed tap with a hammer on a flathead screwdriver might work better.
In order to replace the drivers side mirror on a Buick Rendezvous, you will need to remove the door panel. You will have to disconnect the electrical connector and you will be able to remove the mirror and place the new one on.
If you need to remove side view mirror: you need to remove door panel and there should be 3 nuts securing mirror to door.
I just finished replacing a mirror on a 1999 lesabre and they are probably the same. The button is held in place by a spring steel clip that is visable at the square end of the button. It looks like the button and clip are made together but they aren't you place a small pocket screw driver in the center slot of the clip and pry up and out at the same time on the bottom of the button and the button will come out. ...
there is 3 wires to the starter disconnect them. Then remove the mounting bolts and detach the starter the reverse to installation
Disconnect the - battery cable Raise and support vehicle Disconnect the wiring at top of starter Remove mounting bolts Remove starter
Two mounting bolts at rear of caliper - then slide caliper off rotor
Remove door panel, then three bolts on mirror inside the speaker housing area.
Remove hose clamps Remove mounting bracket Install new following the fuel flow arrows
Unspring the button then glue it to windshield with 'Loctite' Auto Mirror Adhesive,
The rear speakers on a 1999 Buick Regal are removed by accessing the speakers from the trunk. The mounting bolts and then removed, the wires disconnected, and the speakers lowered from their mounts.
