It just screws on like the oil cap. Sometimes can be a bit hard to turn. Use a pliers if you cant turn it by hand.

first you have to remove the engine from the car, second, remove the head cover and remove the push rod. under the intake manifold, remove the wide cover and remove the hydrolic lifter (you might want to replace them) at the front of the engine (strap side) remove the pully and the pully cover. mark the place of the timing shaft with a pen and remove it from the engine. you can now pull the camshaft out of the engine but be carefull becaus the bearing are really delicate. to replace the rebuitl camshaft, make sure you place it in the right position with the crank shaft gear. there is a mark on the camshat and on the crank shaft that must me align.

You take engine out. Remove the flywheel/flexplate and put the engine on an engine stand. Remove the oil pan, timing cover, and timing chain. Remove all rod and main bearing caps. Remove the crankshaft. NOTE: You would be much better off buying a new or used engine than attempting to replace a crankshaft.

Remove the sound baffle to gain access to the filter cover by removing eight(8) screws on each side of the barrier. Remove retaining line from bottom of plastic filter cover. Rotate the cover counterclockwise. Be sure to place a container under the cover to catch the oil that will leak as you rotate the cover. Remove the filter cartridge and the O-ring inside the cartridge cover. Lightly coat the new O-ring with oil before inserting it into the cover. Place the filter cartridge into the cover holder on the engine making sure the cartridge is fully inserted. Carefully replace the plastic cover and snugly hand tighten clockwise. Replace the retaining line to the bottom of the cover. Refill oil and run engine to check for leaks. Replace the sound baffle.
