Open the back to the Rav. If it is anything like the 2003 I have there will be an access panel on the right to all of the light bulbs that you will need to remove.
Once This is removed, You should see (use a high intensity flashlight or shoplight, be careful with the wiring) the wires leading to the lightbulbs) the wires inside your headlight. If you can you are on the right path. At this point I can tell you that You will need to locate 2 screws that are small and that are bolted to the body. They can be
accessed in one of 2 ways. You can locate the first by feeling with your fingers near the top of the original headlight. The second screw is nearer toward the bottom of the light, I had to really stretch to reach mine. This required the second way; I broke part of the old headlight off (it was broken anyway) and accessed the second screw so I could loosen the rest. I hope this will help you. Question isn't clear. Are you asking how do you replace the bulb -OR- how to remove the entire lens assembly?
Phillips screwdriver...two screws throught the lens. Remove the lens and extract the lamp. It pulls out.
To get the tail light out of the 1985 Toyota Cressida wagon, you will need to access the light from the inside of the trunk. Remove all trim from around the light and across the trunk latch. Then, remove the screws that hold the light and lens in place. You can then pull the light into the trunk.
Forget about the Toyota; Buy American.
To replace a light bulb in the map light on a 1996 Toyota Camry, the lens for the light has to be removed. There are clips at two opposite ends that have to be nudged gently with a flat screwdriver to get the lens cover off.
Best area to search is ebay.
squeeze and pull down on it.
Remove the two screws that hold the lens on, remove the lens and change the bulbs.
You will need pliers to remove the wire strip that keeps the light in the socket, then remove the lens. Carefully remove the bulb making sure there is not power in the light then replaces the bulb and reattach the lens and wire.
Remove the two screws in the lens. You can remove the entire assembly once you do this.
The lens assembly is held in with two screws. Remove those and the lens will pop out.
