With a hacksaw and mallet
Okay a Mazda and a Ford pick up are basically the same thing so first check the top part of the cover directly behind the steering wheel. If there is a small removable cover there, remove it and look inside. You should see a what appears to be a small bolt going straight down. As you turn that bolt it will gradually force the steering wheel off. If you don't have the small cover, there are four small bolts on the back side of the steering wheel to remove the air bag. Once the airbag is off you will see a large nut that has to be removed. Once removed you will need a steering wheel puller to force it off.
I had to replace a wiper switch on a 1992 Chevrolet Full size pick-up, and to do so, the steering wheel had to be removed. I think the models are similar. To begin, remove the horn cap, and in some models you may have to remove the attached wire. Go to autozone rent a "steering wheel puller" It has two rods the go in to the ones on the steering wheel and a center bolt that you turn to remove the steering wheel. Before you remove the steering mark where the steering wheel lines up with the steering column with tape. Good luck! I am not sure this is the trouble, if you remove the cover on the steering wheel there will be a large nut if this nut is tight the splines on the wheel could be bad, might be looking at replacing the column, or the steering wheel. I the nut is loose simple tighten and replace cover.
well dude u take the horn cover off and taake all the guts out and then u should see holes in the stering wheel and get a steering wheel puller and pull it off
Pull the center horn mechanism, remove the single large nut in the center, connect a steering wheel puller to the 3 (sometimes 2) threaded holes around the center of the steering wheel splined hub and use the puller to loosen the wheel. It won't come off without a puller. Don't even bother to try.
It is behind the bracket that holds your power steering pump. You have to remove that entire bracket to get to the last bolt.
First you disconnect the battery. If I remember right take the horn button push it down and turn counterclockwise to take off. Socket and a ratchet I forgot the size of the socket it takes. Take the center nut off. You'll have to get yourself steering wheel Puller. Not expensive at all pick one up at your local auto parts store. You just screw the Puller to the steering wheel tightened down the center bolt and it comes off. To put it back on. Make sure the steering wheel is straight when you put it back on the spline take the nut that holds the steering wheel on screw the nut down that's it. Put the horn button to opposite the way you took it off. One more thing before you take the steering wheel off. Take the nut that holds the steering wheel on off. Take a magic marker. Mark the steering wheel and shaft. All you have to do is lineup the marks. It will go on exactly how It came off Additional Info: The chromed horn-ring is accessed from behind the steering wheel. One screw on each side, reached through holes in the steering wheel that face the instrument cluster. Remove these, remove the horn ring. Behind the horn ring are three screws, with special heads with openings shaped like tiny bow-ties, these are called "clutch head" screws. A driver or bits can be purchased at most hardware stores to remove these. Being careful with the fragile plastic ring and other small parts, set them aside, and remove the large nut from the center of the steering wheel. A regular steering wheel puller as mentioned above does not fit the '63 Impala because it has three holes instead of two across from each other. But generally, the wheel can be removed just by slapping the back side of it with your palm.
The fuse for your 1994 Mazda pickup truck four-wheel-drive can be found in the fuse box. The four-wheel-drive fuse will be the number 14 fuse.
u have to remove the steering wheel, blinker switch,4 way button.then theres a screw in the switch to remove behind a little 2 prong plug.some u also need to turn key to remove
you will need a steering wheel puller and a laock plate remover. it is almost impossible to do this without a lock plate remover
Should be a fuse box under the hood with a flasher in the box To get to the flasher relay you have to remove the piece of dashboard under the steering wheel. the flasher will be mounted on a little peg on the left side of the steering column. Hope this helps! -- Brad
It is located to the left side of the steering wheel, under the dashboard.
