Remove rubber boot at bottom of shifter Should be a series of bolts holding shifter in place Make sure vehicle is in neutral Remove bolts Lift shifter out

1. Remove driveshaft. 2. Disconnect Starter. 3. Disconnect all electrical wires on tranny and TV cable linkage. 4. Disconnect exhaust crossover on driver side, Remove Lower bolts from tranny to engine. 5. Remove flywheel to Torque convertor bolts (4). 6. Remove tranny crossmember. 7. Place Jack under tranny, Remove upper bolts from tranny to engine. 8. Move tranny over to side and remove oil cooler lines. 9. Remove transmission. I did one today in less than 2 hours. Of course that was with a lift, air tools, and a tranny jack! Good luck, if you dont know what you are doing this can take more than 2 days of work! later
vibration problem. possibly u joint. has the drive line/axle been dropped/removed? If yes, was it marked before removed and put back exactly the same as removed? Tranny mount could be bad.

take driveshaft out, take starter out, remove tranny inspection cover, unbolt torque converter from flywheel, take shifter linkage off the tranny, remove all the bolts holding tranny to the engine, take tranny coolant lines off the tranny, now your ready to drop the tranny out.
well 1st u have to disconnect all electical connectors includeing the fuel lines. remove the raditor and fan shroud. remove the bell housing blots along with the drivshaft. remove the two tranny mounts. remove the two motor mounts and the sides of the motor and pull away .
remove front and rear drive shafts. remove transfer case. remove tranny lines at trans. unbolt and remove torque converter from flex plate. drop exhaust. remove dip stick tube. un-bolt tranny and move tranny slightly backwards to gat past locating pins. remove tranny, (not a single person job).

inside the transmission....you have to remove the side panel to get to it. It is a job for a dealer...cost will be about $800. The A-frame needs dropped along with the rack, and the tranny tilted back.
