Don't know how technical to get, but in basic terms...... bend the wiper up, away from winshield. The "cover" over the spindle (the part of the arm that didn't move) should be pried up (need to put the wiper back against the windshield, told to pull it up, just to explain which part the "cover" was). Either use a screwdriver to pry the cover up, or take pliers and pull it up. Pry up from the opposite side from the arm. (When the cover comes up, it will bend over to touch the arm itself. This reveals a nut which holds the arm assembly to the spindle. Unscrew the nut and the wiper assembly pulls straight off. hope this helped.
