It's a bit tricky actually. I bought a Haynes manual, and the diagram within does not display this particular motor and so is pretty useless. The thermostat housing is located on the end of the top water hose mounted sideways on the top of the engine underneath the throttle body and right next to the junction of the exhast manifold and header. You will have to remove the air cleaner box for sure, but access is extremely restricted compared to the 3.1l.
The Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser car was first produced in 1964. It was manufactured from 1964 to 1977. It is a station wagon, and the Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser succeeded this car.
Follow the top radiator hose to the thermostat housing. There are two 13mm bolts holding it in. One may have a nut holding a bracket on. Remove the nut and bracket. Then remove the two bolts. Pull up on the housing....that's it.
None. Oldsmobile stopped making the Vista Cruiser in 1977.
Oldsmobile produced the Cutlass from 1961 -1999. They came in 2 door, 4 door, hardtops, sedans, convertibles, station wagons, etc. We need more info to correctly answer your question. Re-post with more info.
