both front and back oil seals are big jobs have to remove timing cover and timing chain on front seal and rear seal have to remove or at least slide back the transmission to get to it so is a really big job had one done cost almost as much as pulling out an engine
The rear main oil seal would be the bigger repair job on most engines.
Cost of a crank seal leak repair
replace the seal
Eddie Bauer has nothing to do with a transmission seal
Check Z-bart and maybe camper repair shop, they carry windows of the same size and shape, they got to have the sealers !
Any torque converter repair whether it be a seal or whatever must be made with the transmission out of the vehicle and the torque converter pulled off the front shaft to gain access to the seal.
It is located at the front of the transmission, on the pump. You can see it on the pump were the torq converter goes into the transmission. The trans has to be pulled out of the car to do the repair.
The seal has the following external (outside) parts or anatomy:EyesWhiskersNostrilsPointed front teethNeckFore (front) flippers with clawsUnderbellyBlubber (Keeps the seal warm)Hind (back) flippersFur (covering its body)Ears, which do not have an external flap and can close underwater
Probable rear main seal failure. You will have to remove the transmission to do the repair.
Need to know what seal you are talking about. Front crankshaft seal, wheel seal, etc?
Yes
Save your money, only a new seal will repair a worn out seal. Be sure the crankcase ventilation system is working properly.
