How do you repair the power seat in a 2003 Toyota Camry. The seat will not move?

I have similar problem with my 2003 Camry. Dealership said the motor is shot and for $1,350, they can fix it. My seat will go forward, up & down but NOT back. Now it is full forward. I am unable to find a non-dealership to fix the seat in Dallas, Texas area. I plan to take the seat out at the rails to see if I can fix it. Toyota of Dallas said the motor is $480. I will be watching for an answer here also. Good luck.
