remove wheel closest to tranny, remove brakes, disconnect lower ball joint, disconntect sway bar link, remove transmission, and there will be a rotor, flyhwheel, and the clutch with all it parts visible. It is a 6 hour job i would say. Allthough, you either need a new flywheel or get the original machined before re using it. Also, have gear oil, (about 3 litres) and so on handy. It is a tough job that takes a day.

Keep It Simple Stupid. Take it to a mechanic and replace clutch cause any clutch problem means you need to replace it!

it is inside your distributor.I have 1994 mx3 an my igniter quit,and i had to replace the whole distributor. not cheap.
the fan clutch is built into the water pump,it cant be separated,you have to replace the water pump.

well...there is no fan belt on any model of mx3, its using an electrical fan, and if you have A/C it has a second electrical fan just beside it. If its not working, it could be the relay, the motor, or the coolant sensor

you will need to remove either the engine or the transmission(engine is easiest in the 94 escorts) replace the clutch and put the engine back in
