To replace the fan cluch you need the wrench that goes to it. It's two wrenches one goes on the fan nut the other goes on the pulley I couldn't find the one to fit so I got the smaller one and grinded it , first one didnt work but the second one did that was 23 bucks each time so try to find the right one

from 89 through 1996 the rims have the same bolt circle and from 1997-2003 and 2004-2011. However, if the tires are larger than stock on the 4x4 you will probly have clearance issues on the 2x4.

You Must remove the trans to access the slave... on the 5 speed for sure.
Put DOT3 brake fluid in the clutch pump located behind the brake fluid resevoir. Then pump the clutch and that should fix the problem
Parts,$300 and the book time for a 4x4 Rav is 12hrs as the engine/trans have to come out as a unit to replace the clutch.
The clutch switch is located in cab between the brake pedal and throttle. It is mounted on the clutch rod at the firewall. You should replace it, not bypass it. I agree, replace it, don't bypass it. It's there for a reason. Normally I have nothing good to say about Chilton or Haynes manuals, but the Haynes manual gives a really good description of how to adjust the switch. cross the red and the yellow wire leading to the neutral safety switch to bypass it
just take the old one out, any car lighter will work
