you would need to take out 10 bolts and bingo it is off
More: I'd check the entire procedure in a Haynes or Chilton manual. There are going to be fuel lines to disconnected. There are safety issues here. You may have to drain the tank before removal. You'll probably need a floor jack to lower the tank slowly and safely.
on the 2.4 it is 14.9gal
13 gallons.
Only one. The filter is integrated into the fuel pump module, located inside the fuel tank. To replace the filter, you must replace the entire fuel pump module. To replace that module, you must first either remove the fuel tank or the truck box.
if you drop the fuel tank from the mounts it is on the top of the tank. there are 6 screws that you have to remove and the entire fuel pump module will come out. there are two electrical connections that you have to disconnect as well. one is outside the tank (if you follow the wires back toward the cab you will see it), and the other is inside the fuel tank.
There is no actual fuel filter on your truck, the pick-up in the gas tank acts as the fuel filter, another bright idea from the manufacturer.
