I just replaced the broken glove box latch in my 1993 Honda Civic DX hatchback. There were two screws holding it in place. After removing the screws, it slipped right out. The new part I received from Sons Honda came without screws, and had unthreaded shanks where the screws should go. I called the parts dept. and was advised to use rivets, which the staff suggested could be procured at Home Depot or Lowes. Home Depot did not have the right size, nor could the staff imagine how rivets would work in this application. Following the advice of staff at my local A-Line Auto, I ended up getting a tap (8-32) and used it to create threads. Works fine now.
