How do you replace the heater valve switch in the 1994 S10 Sonoma? I am told that it is an 8 hr labor job to take off the dash, or to drill a hole through the glove box, it is a 2 hr labor job.
Assuming this is the temperature blend door actuator that is not working, the correct way to gain access to the part is by removing the dash assembly. Fairly complicated job. If you intend on doing this yourself I would recommend purchasing a shop manual for that vehicle. The manual will pay for itself with this job.
