Remove the belt from your 2001 Suzuki alternator. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new alternator.

∙ 9y agoTo remove the Suzuki Esteem alternator, someone has to first remove the serpentine belt from the alternator pulley and all the attached wires. Dislodge the alternator and replace with a new one. Fasten the wires and the serpentine belt and let the engine run for 5 minutes.
