The pin will probably have to have the bottom end that is flared out cut off or drilled out. The pin can then be tapped out. This is easier if the hinge has been removed but then the door will have to be blocked up into place while the hinge is off.
You can't. Have to replace the hinge.
It is on the left hinge of the trunk
need to replace door hindge pins and bushing, how do we get door off safely.
Most problems with an automobile door hinge is worn out bushings. There is a small rubber bushing behind the adjustment bolts. Replace the bushings.
The price to replace these items can be anywhere from 20 dollars to 450 dollars. It depends on where you go to have it done and what they charge.
There are two different sizes of bushings for each hinge. On the Top door hinge the bushing go on the body side. The smaller of the two goes on the top hinge with the shoulder of the bushing on the top side of the hinge. The Larger bushing goes on the bottom of the hinge with the shoulder of the bushing on the bottom of the hinge. On the lower hinge the bushing go on the door side of the the hinge. The larger of the bushings go on the upper side of the hinge and the smaller bushing goes on the lower side of the hinge. When you put the pins in, the pin will go from bottom to top on the upper hinge and from top to bottom on the lower hinge. The pins will need to be tapped into place with a hammer. Be careful to not break the shoulder of the bushing. There is a tool that makes reinstalling the door spring a snap. It will probably cost $40, but it will save your knuckles and a lot of time. There are a couple of companies that make repair kits for these. On is from Dorman and the other is from HELP! The kits come with a small bushing, a large bushing, a pin, and a pin retainer. The retainers will look different depending on the company. Some look just like a thin washer and other look like an E-clip. If you go to an automotive parts house and ask for bushing and pin kits for you specific outfit they should know what you are talking about.
by using only the information given, your answer is to replace the lower door hinge pin and bushing.
BIG JOB! The original hinges are welded in. They do sell pin and bushing kits to restore the original hinges, much easier to do than replacing the whole hinge.
Not too tough of a job. It will be easier if you have someone to help. Support the door with wood blocks at the right height, wide open, then remove the bolts to the hinge. This door is very heavy. Once the old hinge is removed, then just bolt on the new one. These hinge's like to sag, and should be replaced once in the car's life span.
