You have to take the inside door panel off to get to the bolts. To take that off start by popping off the plastic trim piece inside of the interior door grab handle with a small screw driver. Take those two screws out and then take out the plastic keeper that looks like a screw that is behind the actual latched handle. This is done by actually backing it out like its a real screw until it comes out. After that take that plastic piece out that has the handle and the lock cased in it out by prising on one side of it(it just pops in). Then take the trim piece that the window controls are in apart from the door panel. Now start at the bottom of the door and start pulling the door panel away from the door. Sometimes its hard to get it but its just little plastic keepers that hold it so pull hard. Once you have it pulled away everywhere but on the top, lift the panel straight upward to pull it out of the window slot. Now just look for three black rubber/foam plugs right across from the mirror on the inside of the door and pull them out. Your bolts for the mirror are right inside of those holes. Just do everything in the opposite order that i described to put it all back together.
No you must remove the dashboard. I just had it done on a 1996 Bravada and it cost me $450.00.

Remove the upper intake.
Remove the upper intake and there it is.
It is in the exhaust on the driver side on the vehicle.
The speed sensor on a 2000 Olds Bravada Smartrak is on the top of the automatic transfer case. To change it you need to disconnect the two wires and replace with a new sensor.
You have to remove the steering wheel and driver airbag to replace this multi function switch....trust me I had to do it.
