I need passenger door hinges for my chevy aveo 2007
I had one person heat the hinge with a welding torch until it was cherry red, and then I used an air chisel to inch it out. We did this back and forth getting about an 1/8 of an inch each time. Replace with a new hinge and use the pins with a grease fitting.

To replace the Ford Explorer rear window hinge, you have to buy a similar window hinge. Use a screwdriver to open the hinge and replace the hinge but fitting it in the window.
I would recommend you replace the entire hinge and forget about repairing it. In my experience this is the best route to take.

The price to replace these items can be anywhere from 20 dollars to 450 dollars. It depends on where you go to have it done and what they charge.

Your local auto parts store can sell you an inexpensive tool to remove and replace that door detente spring. Other hinge parts such as the pin and roller for the door detente and hinge pins and bushings are also available.
To replace the hinge on a 95 Mercury Cougar, remove the bolts holding the hinge in place. Find a replacement hinge from the manufacturer and install it using the right hardware.
