Depending on what year and if you are using stock mirrors... But I have a 2000 VW Jetta 1.8t but anyway you will need to remove your door panel, unhook a few things on the driver side like the window switch, remove your tweeter then pull the foam that covers the tweeter, in there u are going to find a bluish t45 torx screw MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THAT and that will lead you to your mirror which you will have to unhook and if it is stock just plug the new one in and put everything back together, any questions email me at krissie5602@Yahoo.com i dont come on here very often, im trying to put aftermarket m3 style mirrors on mine and am trying to find out which wire goes where.
