The stock speakers in a 1993 Toyota Corolla measure 4 inches in the front and 6 1/2 inches in the rear. The front speakers are located in the dash, and the rear speakers are located in the rear deck.
there is no auxiliary port on the stock deck of the corolla, if you want to keep everything stock, go purchase a line out converter and attach it to your OEM deck
you hump them until they start to get dents. then replace them they are discusting now.
Disconnect the battery to prevent any electric shorts or shocks. Unscrew the speakers from their mounts and go through the trunk to remove the rear deck speakers. Replace the old speakers with the new speakers and screw them in. Connect the battery again and test your speakers.

Access the speakers through the trunk. Under the rear deck you can see the magnet of the speakers. I think they just unscrew out from there.
I am in the process of replacing the factory speakers in my wife's 2002 Liberty. Unfortunately, the deck does not drive the speakers, there are small amps in each of the front door speakers. Therefore, you cannot replace them with aftermarket speakers unless you replace the deck as well. The other option is to replace them, add an amp and rewire the entire system. This is not what I bargained for when I started this project but in the end it will be a lot better system then the factory system.
Front speakers are 6.5" and rear speakers are 6.75". You can use 6.5" speakers for the rear deck but you will have a little trouble aligning the four screws on the spacer but it can be done. The front speakers require shallow mount speakers or the use of .75" to 1" spacers depending on the speaker mounting depth.
Yes, they can be replaced. According to Crutchfield.com, the front dash speakers are 4" x 6".
look up under the back window through the trunk and you will see them right there.
