Grab the front headlight and pull with both hands, the headlight will pop out and you will be able to remove the bulb. Set the headlight aside, you will then be able to twist and remove the front turn signal lamp.
After you get the turn signal bulb out, most parts stores in my area do not have a replacement bulb available when you ask them to look up the bulb on their computer. But a Sylvania 2057LL worked just fine in my 95 GC.
Everything above worked for me on my 95 GC except the replacement bulb was an 1156.
To replace a turn signal on a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee prop the hood open. Locate the headlight housing and the turn signal will be located next to it. Find the bulb and remove it from the housing. Replace the bulb.

If your 2002 Grand Cherokee turn signal will not work, it is a good idea to check the fuses first. Then, check the bulb in the signal to see if that is lighting at all. Replace the fuse if it is blown.
