There is an access panel under the rear seat. Unscrew that and you will be at the fuel sending unit. Remove the sending unit and replace with new or used one, note that the fuel pump is attached to the float, so you will need to transfer it or replace it. BE CAREFULL! You will be working over open raw fuel, so make sure that there is fresh air and DO NOT smoke or create sparks or do anything that may ignite the fuel! After you are done just reassemble. Before you start make sure that it is the float and not your gauge.You can do tht by plugging the float into the wiring harnes at the tank before you remove the sending unit. Move the float up and down while plugged in and look at the gauge to see if it moves from empty to full as you move the float.
