Depends on the year. I believe most 91-95 civic's only have about three or four bolts holding them in. the two on top that adjust the horizontal and vertical adjusters. One right beside the grill towards the center of the car. And one more that the turning signal lamp screws into. Check and see there could be another one on the outside of each lamp once you take the turning signal lamp out.
The Civic Hatchbacks -and I believe the forms - are difficult for headlight assembly replacement in that the light catches on the front bumper if you try to take it out. It seems that you need to remove the plastic bumper cover first in order to get the assembly out. It's a far bigger job than it seems from the outside. I recommend googling for how-to manuals before you do this deceptively simple task..
